Safeco Agent Portal: one best-of-breed experience

The challenge

The agent portal brought together extensive content, complex business tasks, and initiatives owned by different teams. A platform migration created an opportunity to rethink how those pieces fit together.

What I did

• Mapped concurrent initiatives, content areas, audiences, and tasks to create a shared view of the agent experience.
• Defined current and future information architecture, content organization, and reusable approaches for different content needs.
• Used agent research and usability findings to refine homepage and quote interactions, including how agents find help and underwriting contacts.
